A Fool and His Money (part one)


     Thomas Tusser, an English poet and farmer, best known for his instructional poem Five Hundred Points of Good Husbandry, published in 1557, also is known for the quote: “A fool and his money are soon parted.”  Wiser words have never been spoken.  The above messages come to you from my email.  In 1557 prior to internet and infomercials or even radio, Mr. Tusser warned us of the constant ploys to separate us from our money.   Between 1866 and 1868 the phrase; "There's a sucker born every minute," was coined but it wasn’t P. T. Barnum as most people think.  Over 300 years from Thomas Tusser’s warning the same warning is trumped.  In the 1941 Universal Pictures comedy film starring and scripted by W.C. Fields, “Never Give a Sucker an Even Break,” comes another pennant for us to be watchful of the vultures who wish to separate us from our money.
     I am not an advocate of censorship but if the FCC wants to protect the air ways of harmful vulgar content, and the FDA wish to protect us from physically harmful substances. The government goes to war to protect us from global terrorist threats.  The CIA, FBI, ATF, and the Border Patrol protect us from aliens, illegal drugs, and spies.  With the success of these agencies it is easy to see why policing the internet is going to be impossible.  
     I sure you, just as I are tired of getting these emails flooding our service.  I have tried to label them as junk or tired to block them to no end.  Notice that some come from the same source but with different people or addresses.  By trying to block them only generate the flood gates to open.  My sister says that they are searching for an active email account and once you try to eructate them you are advertising that you are reading your mail.
     The awful truth is that these male enhancing, erectile dysfunction, sex promoting industries generate billions of dollars a year.  As in the FCC, FDA, CIA, FBI, ATF and CBP the industries of which these emails are generated proves that nearly five hundred years removed from Thomas Tusser, A FOOL AND HIS MONEY ARE SOON PARTED!
